Youths Wearing Balaclavas Damage Tents at Bristol Campsite

A group of youths, including one wearing a balaclava, caused damage to tents at a campsite near Bristol. Avon and Somerset Police responded to reports of vandalism at Nesta Camping site off Denny Lane, close to Chew Magna.

The incident occurred between 1:10am and 2:00am on Monday, July 6, where several tents were found torn. Witnesses described two suspects: one male clad in a black tracksuit top with a blue stripe and a balaclava, and another male wearing a white t-shirt and hat.

Despite police patrols, the offenders were not located at the scene. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident or the identities of those involved to contact Avon and Somerset Police by calling 101 and referencing log number 065 of 06/07.

A police spokesperson commented: “We attended the campsite following reports of youths damaging tents. Officers searched the area but found no trace of the suspects. We appeal to the public to come forward with any details that could assist our investigation.”
