Youths Wearing Balaclavas and Hats Vandalize Tents at Bristol Campsite

Avon and Somerset Police are investigating an incident involving a group of youths who caused damage to tents at a popular campsite near Bristol. The disturbance occurred between 1:10 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. on Monday, July 6, at Nesta Camping, located off Denny Lane near Chew Magna.

During the incident, several tents were torn, prompting police to patrol the area; however, the offenders had already fled. Witnesses described two males in the group: one wearing a balaclava and a black tracksuit top with a blue stripe, and the other dressed in a white t-shirt and a hat.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident or the identities of those involved to contact Avon and Somerset Police by calling 101, quoting log number 065 of 06/07.

A police spokesperson stated: “We responded to reports of youths damaging tents at the campsite between 1:10 and 2 a.m. Although officers searched the area, the individuals were not found. We are appealing for any information to help identify those responsible.”
