Young Boy Assaulted and Bike Stolen in Penhill

A 13-year-old boy was assaulted and his bicycle stolen on Tuesday afternoon, May 27, in the Penhill area of Swindon. The attack occurred just before 1:30 pm on Charlton Close, where the boy was struck on the head with a hammer.

The teenager was immediately taken to hospital for treatment of a head injury. Following the assault, the suspects stole his bike—a distinctive black Carrera model featuring red handlebars and red pedals.

Wiltshire Police have released a photo of the stolen bike and are appealing for public assistance in locating it. Investigators are also searching for two suspects involved in the incident: a white male in his 40s with a ginger beard, dressed in a black puffer jacket, and a younger companion in his 20s with blond hair, wearing a dark tracksuit.
