Bath Rugby centre Will Parry has confirmed his move to Championship champions Ealing Trailfinders ahead of the 2025/26 season. The 21-year-old made his senior debut for Bath Rugby against Bristol Bears in 2022 and also gained valuable experience playing in the Championship with Doncaster Knights while studying at Durham University.
Recognised as a promising talent, Parry earned a spot training with the England senior squad ahead of their Rugby World Cup clash with Fiji in 2023. Despite his potential, Parry found opportunities at Bath limited due to strong competition from established players such as Cam Redpath, Ollie Lawrence, Will Butt, Max Ojomoh, and Scotland international Chris Harris, who is joining from Gloucester Rugby next season. Rising academy star Louie Hennessey is also in the mix for the centre position at Bath.
Parry, who scored two tries in eight appearances for Bath, expressed his enthusiasm about his new challenge: “I’m really excited about joining a club with high aspirations and a history of success. Ealing Trailfinders has a talented squad and excellent coaching staff, which makes it the perfect place to develop my game. I look forward to gaining experience playing Championship Rugby alongside some of the league’s best players and contributing to the club’s journey.”

Ealing Director of Rugby Ben Ward praised the signing: “Will is a powerful player with real promise. He has gained valuable exposure at Doncaster and Bath, and we’re excited to support his continued growth.”
Meanwhile, Bath Rugby has also confirmed several departures. Italian international hooker Hame Faiva and hooker John Stewart will both leave the club; Faiva has been sidelined for most of the 2024/25 season due to a knee injury sustained in a pre-season friendly against Cardiff Rugby. England winger Ruaridh McConnochie will retire at the end of the season to pursue coaching, while Springbok scrum-half Louis Schreuder, hooker Niall Annett, and prop Arthur Cordwell will also exit the club later this month.
