A fresh vibe is coming to Yeovil’s nightlife with the closure of Club Neo, the town’s last remaining nightclub, and the exciting arrival of Club ZarZar. After more than 15 years as a staple on South Street, Club Neo has shuttered its doors, but the story isn’t over. The venue has been taken over by new management, ready to relaunch as Club ZarZar later this month.
Set to open on Halloween night, Thursday, October 31, Club ZarZar promises to redefine nights out in Yeovil. Organisers describe it as “the South West’s most stylish new destination,” combining elegance with vibrant energy. Highlights include a state-of-the-art sound system, enhanced safety measures, exclusive VIP sections, and a chic dress code designed to elevate the clubbing experience.
The new management team is actively recruiting staff for a variety of roles, including bar personnel, front-of-house teams, cloakroom attendants, restroom clean-up crews, glass collectors, and lighting and sound technicians, signaling a commitment to exceptional service and a high-quality atmosphere.

In a heartfelt farewell, the former Club Neo team took to social media to thank patrons and staff for their loyalty and friendship over the years. “We’ve had the privilege of welcoming so many through our doors,” they said. “Colleagues became family, and customers became friends. The memories from Yeovil’s nights will stay with us forever.”
Though Club Neo has closed, their events will continue as planned until the handover is complete. The club’s former staff will continue to entertain Yeovil’s nightlife crowd at Chicago Rock, ensuring the spirit of good times endures.
As Club ZarZar prepares to open its doors on October 31, Yeovil’s nightlife is poised for an exciting transformation full of new energy, style, and unforgettable experiences.
