Yeovil Town’s scheduled National League match against Woking has been postponed because of a waterlogged pitch at the Laithwaite Community Stadium. After a thorough inspection on Friday, the match official declared the playing surface unplayable following persistent heavy rainfall in the area.
Prioritizing the safety of players, officials, and supporters, the decision was made in collaboration with the National League authorities. A new date for the fixture will be announced in due course, and tickets purchased for the original match will remain valid for the rescheduled game.
In an official statement, Yeovil Town explained: “After hosting Macclesfield in a rearranged FA Trophy fixture on Tuesday evening, Woking’s pitch has been unable to recover due to prolonged persistent rainfall, which necessitated an early inspection.”

This postponement means Yeovil Town will now go three weeks without a National League game—following the earlier postponement of their home match against Aldershot. However, the Glovers are scheduled to face AFC Telford United in the FA Trophy next Saturday.
