Yeovil Town delivered a dramatic late win against Altrincham thanks to January signing Terrell Works, who scored his first goal since September in the 87th minute. The Fulham academy forward, on loan and making only his second appearance since joining after a stint at Braintree, came off the bench in the second half to secure a 1-0 victory.
The pivotal moment came when Luke McCormick broke through one-on-one with Altrincham goalkeeper Luke Hutchinson. Although his initial shot was saved, Works was in the perfect position to convert the rebound, handing Altrincham their seventh defeat in ten league matches.
This crucial win propelled Yeovil Town above Altrincham in the standings, moving them up to 14th place and six points clear of the relegation zone.
