Troy Perrett came close to opening the scoring early on, with a header that narrowly missed the post and another shot in the 35th minute that was agonizingly wide of the upright.
The breakthrough finally came in the 40th minute when Ryan Jones expertly finished from a tight angle, giving Yeovil the lead. Early in the second half, the Glovers nearly doubled their advantage when James Daly’s effort was cleared off the line.

Their dominance was sealed in the 55th minute. Brett McGavin’s free-kick struck the goal frame, and Declan Skura reacted quickly to slot home the rebound, securing a well-deserved three points for Yeovil Town.
