Yeovil Town returned to winning ways with a thrilling 3-2 victory over fellow strugglers Morecambe at Huish Park in the National League.
The Glovers started strongly, with Brett McGavin opening the scoring after just 10 minutes thanks to a powerful long-range strike. However, Morecambe responded before halftime when Gwion Edwards leveled the score with his fourth goal of the season.
Early in the second half, Yeovil regained the lead as James Daly expertly curled the ball into the bottom corner shortly before the hour mark. Daly came close to doubling his tally but missed a chance to extend the lead. Moments later, January signing Ryan Jones sealed the advantage by navigating through a crowded penalty area and slotting in his second goal for the club.
