Yeovil Town Secure Promising Defender Dan Ellison from Bristol Rovers

Yeovil Town have officially signed 20-year-old centre back Dan Ellison from Bristol Rovers, locking him in with a contract running through to the summer of 2027.

Ellison joins Yeovil after an impressive loan spell at Aldershot Town last season, where he was instrumental in their FA Trophy triumph. Notably, he scored at Wembley Stadium during the final, highlighting his ability to shine on major occasions.

Dan’s football journey began at Chippenham Town, where he made 30 appearances in the National League South and netted four goals. His strong performances earned him a move to Bristol Rovers in 2024, as well as a call-up to the England C squad that same year.

Yeovil Town manager Richard Dryden expressed enthusiasm about the signing, saying: “Dan is a player I know well from our time together at Aldershot. He has a fantastic attitude, real potential, and has already shown he can perform on the big stage. He is strong, composed, and hungry to keep improving. We are really pleased to have him on board.”
