Yeovil Town Secure Dramatic Late Victory at Barrow

In an exhilarating match at Barrow, Yeovil Town managed a thrilling 2-1 comeback victory thanks to a late goal from Joe Gubbins deep in stoppage time. The home side nearly took the lead early on when Barrow defender Kennedy Digie struck a shot that was brilliantly cleared off the line, keeping the scores level.

Yeovil responded with an impressive curling effort from Ryan Jones, which narrowly missed its mark. Despite both sides' attempts, the first half ended without any goals.

The deadlock was finally broken in the 75th minute when Barrow’s Keaton Ward volleyed the ball into the net to give his team the lead. However, Yeovil showed resilience and were awarded a penalty three minutes from the end. Luke McCormick confidently converted the spot-kick to level the match.
