Yeovil Town ended their three-match winless streak in impressive fashion with a 4-1 triumph over Solihull Moors in the National League. The victory lifts the Glovers back into the play-off positions, now sitting sixth in the table.
Summer signing Johl Powell was the star of the show, scoring his first goals for the club and securing a brace late in the game. The 25-year-old, who joined from Southern Premier League side Walton and Hersham, came off the bench to net the crucial third goal just four minutes after entering the pitch. Notably, this goal came only a minute after Solihull Moors had reduced the deficit to 2-1 in the 83rd minute, restoring the Glovers' two-goal advantage.
Earlier in the match, Ryan Jones opened the scoring in the 15th minute, setting the tone for Yeovil’s dominance. Slavi Spasov then doubled the lead just before the hour mark, netting his second goal in two games after a seven-match goal drought.

Despite Solihull Moors’ late effort resulting in a contentious goal from Matty Carson’s corner, which struck goalkeeper Josiah Barker and went into the net with three minutes remaining, Powell’s injury-time strike firmly sealed the win and eased any remaining nerves.
This result marks a significant boost for Yeovil Town as they look to push further up the National League standings and fight for promotion.
