Yeovil Town continued their strong form in the National League by securing a 2-0 victory over Hartlepool United, handing new Hartlepool manager Nicky Featherstone a challenging start in charge.
The Glovers took the lead early in the 14th minute when Luke McCormick surged down the left flank and delivered a precise cross to Aaron Jarvis, who confidently finished inside the box.
Hartlepool came close to leveling the score soon after, with James Daly heading a ball back towards goal that caught Yeovil goalkeeper Jed Ward off guard, but the effort drifted narrowly wide.
