Aldershot secured a confident 2-1 victory over Yeovil Town as they concluded their National League campaign, setting a positive tone ahead of their FA Trophy final against Spennymoor Town.
The match saw Jack Barham break the deadlock in the 39th minute, skillfully eluding his marker before sprinting forward and striking a precise shot that beat Yeovil goalkeeper Aidan Stone.
Shortly after halftime, Aldershot’s substitute Dejan Tetek orchestrated a move that saw Tyler Frost score at the far post, doubling the home side’s lead. Yeovil responded with determination, and Dom Bernard pulled one back for the Glovers with a powerful header in the 60th minute, but they were unable to find an equalizer.
