Yeovil Town Season Ends in Heavy Defeat to Solihull Moors

Yeovil Town’s National League campaign concluded on a disappointing note as they were defeated 4-1 by Solihull Moors.

The visitors raced into a commanding lead early on, with Jacob Wakeling opening the scoring just two minutes in with a powerful 20-yard strike. Solihull quickly doubled their advantage in the 13th minute when Scott High cleverly beat goalkeeper Jed Ward at the near post. Within 16 minutes, Wakeling sealed his brace with a precise left-footed finish, putting Solihull 3-0 up.

Yeovil Town showed some resilience, pulling a goal back through Terrell Works on the half-hour mark, sparking hope for a comeback. However, Joe Sbarra extinguished those hopes before halftime, restoring Solihull’s three-goal cushion in the 36th minute.
