Yeovil Town’s National League campaign concluded on a disappointing note with a 4-1 defeat to Solihull Moors at Huish Park. The visitors surged ahead early, with Jacob Wakeling opening the scoring just two minutes into the match with a powerful 20-yard strike. Solihull quickly doubled their lead in the 13th minute when Scott High beat Yeovil goalkeeper Jed Ward at his near post.
The Glovers found themselves 3-0 down barely 16 minutes in after Wakeling netted his second goal with a precise left-footed finish. Despite the early setback, Yeovil showed some fight when Terrell Works pulled a goal back on the half-hour mark, offering a glimmer of hope.
However, Solihull Moors reasserted control before halftime, as Joe Sbarra extended their lead to 4-1 in the 36th minute. The second half saw no further goals, with Solihull comfortably managing their advantage and closing out the match.
