Yeovil Town produced a remarkable comeback to defeat Sutton United 3-2 at Huish Park, with two goals scored deep into stoppage time sealing a vital National League win.
The Glovers initially took the lead in the 41st minute after earning a penalty for a foul on Terrell Works. Although Luke McCormick’s penalty was saved, James Daly was quick to net the rebound, putting Yeovil ahead.
However, Sutton responded late in the first half. Five minutes into added time, Hayden Muller headed home from Besart Topalloj’s well-placed cross to level the score. Sutton then completed their turnaround in the 66th minute, with Kai Jennings converting a precise pass from Lewis Simper, beating goalkeeper Jed Ward.
