Yeovil Town Owners Address Fans with Open Letter on Transfers, Pre-Season, and Huish Park Future

Yeovil Town’s new owner, Prabhu Srinivasan, together with executive chairman Stuart Robins, have reached out to fans in an open letter addressing recent developments and future plans ahead of the National League season. With the new campaign just weeks away, supporters have expressed concerns over the pace of transfer activity since the new ownership took charge in May.

Published on the club’s official website, the letter reflects a transparent and committed approach from the leadership team: “It’s now a month since the Meet the Owners evening – a brilliant night that reminded us how special this club is. We remain dedicated to maintaining an open dialogue and look forward to hosting more sessions as the season progresses.”

Since acquiring the club, Srinivasan and Robins have prioritized stabilizing Yeovil Town while forging important partnerships and setting the stage for sustainable growth both on and off the field. They highlighted upcoming sponsorship announcements from prominent local businesses standing firmly behind the club, generating strong community momentum.

Acknowledging fans’ impatience about transfers, the letter assures that manager Mark and his coaching staff are working relentlessly to secure the right talent. “Our summer recruitment strategy has been measured and strategic, prioritizing quality over quantity to build a competitive and energetic squad aligned with Mark’s vision.” So far, new signings include Kyle Ferguson, Tahvon Campbell, and James Daly, with further additions expected.

Training facilities have also been enhanced, with the squad relocating pre-season preparations to the prestigious SGS Academy, which is already making a positive impact. Additionally, a subtle adjustment to Huish Park’s pitch dimensions has been made following the coaching team’s analysis to better suit the playing style.

The letter also touches on long-term ambitions, confirming constructive discussions with Somerset County Council about the potential reacquisition of Huish Park to secure the club’s future. “While there’s no quick fix, progress is ongoing, and we appreciate their continued support.”

Concluding on an optimistic note, the ownership emphasized, “We’re building something honest and ambitious – deeply rooted in Yeovil, driven by its community, and resolutely focused on delivering football that fans can be proud of.”
