Yeovil Town Joy as Jaydon Biss and Liam Nardiello Make Memorable Debuts

Yeovil Town’s academy star Jaydon Biss expressed immense joy after making his first-team debut in the FA Trophy match against AFC Telford. Coming off the bench late in the game, Biss was soon joined by fellow youth talent Liam Nardiello. Together, they helped the Glovers secure a 2-0 victory, propelling the team into the quarter-finals.

Reflecting on his debut, Biss said, “I’m over the moon. I’ve always dreamed of moments like this. It’s truly a dream come true. The moment I stepped onto the pitch, I couldn’t believe it. Ever since I was a young boy, this opportunity was what I strived for.”

Biss shared that his journey to the first team began just days earlier. “I joined training on Thursday because the team needed extra players for this important fixture. From that moment, I gave everything—on and off the pitch, even in the gym—to reach this point.”

He highlighted the support from teammates and management, praising the encouragement from both players and the coaching staff. “The boys and the gaffer have been incredible, always pushing me to reach the level where I can perform and make a difference.”

Biss also spoke about the unity within the club’s youth ranks. “Many of us under-18 and under-19 players support one another. We’re like a family, each hoping one of us can step onto the field and shine. That support means everything to me.”

Reflecting on the historic nature of the occasion, with the team close to a Wembley appearance, Biss revealed his excitement: “Today couldn’t have been better. It’s inspiring, and I’m eager to keep making an impact, help lead the team back to winning ways, and hopefully have many more moments like this.”
