Yeovil Town Football Club has officially entered a new era with the acquisition of the club by Inflection Holdings, a Dubai-based investment firm headed by Prabhu Srinivasan. The family office purchased all shares previously owned by former chairman Martin Hellier, marking a significant shift in the club’s leadership.
Martin Hellier stepped down from his role as chairman in late March, having announced his intention to sell the club amid a challenging period for the Glovers. With the takeover now complete, Prabhu Srinivasan assumes the dual role of Owner and Chairman, joined by his wife Bhavna and son Sahil, who together form a passionate and committed ownership group focused on Yeovil Town’s growth and sustainability.
Since the takeover, Mr. Srinivasan has immersed himself in the club’s vibrant culture, attending Yeovil’s home match against Sutton United. He expressed admiration for the fans’ loyalty despite the on-pitch disappointment: “I moved into the Thatcher’s Stand during the game to be with the fans. Their passion is inspiring, and I look forward to connecting with more supporters soon.”

He went on to share his vision for the club’s future: “Leading Yeovil Town into a stable and prosperous future is a privilege. We are dedicated to delivering success not only for our supporters but also for the broader Yeovil community. Our investment represents a commitment to respecting the club’s storied history while driving positive impacts for players, fans, and employees alike.”
Executive Chairman Stuart Robins, who remains in his leadership position following Hellier’s departure, praised the new ownership: “We warmly welcome Prabhu and his family. After extensive discussions, I am confident that Yeovil Town is positioned for a bright future. Together, we will focus on developing the club in alignment with our ambitions and the community’s hopes.”
Background on the New Ownership
Prabhu Srinivasan is a seasoned global entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience spanning banking, retail, technology, travel, real estate, e-waste management, and wellness sectors. Notably, he has founded one of the largest multi-sports youth platforms across India and the Middle East.
Bhavna Srinivasan, his wife, is recognized as a leadership coach and business strategist, with expertise in entrepreneurship and wellness integration. Their son Sahil shares a profound passion for football, having trained with elite clubs across Spain, Germany, the UK, and the UAE. Sahil holds an academic background in sports science from New York University and has developed proprietary youth training programs.
The family, now based in Dubai, brings a wealth of diverse experience and a unified enthusiasm for football, aiming to restore Yeovil Town’s competitive edge and community ties.
Yeovil Town’s statement on the takeover emphasized the significance of this milestone: “This investment signals a fresh roadmap for the club under new stewardship focused on sustainability and community engagement. Mr. Prabhu has spent significant time in Somerset collaborating with club personnel to validate his vision. Stuart Robins will continue as Executive Chairman, providing valuable direction alongside the Srinivasan family.”
This acquisition marks Yeovil Town’s second change in ownership within three years. It concludes a challenging period under Hellier’s leadership, during which the club secured promotion from the National League South but finished 18th this season amid financial losses totaling £2.8 million. Tensions between Hellier and some supporters contributed to his decision to step down.
The new ownership brings optimism that Yeovil Town can rebuild its fortunes with a clear strategy, robust leadership, and deep community connections at the heart of its mission.
