Yeovil Town FC Parts Ways with Manager Mark Cooper After Troubling Start to Season

Yeovil Town FC has announced the dismissal of manager Mark Cooper following a disappointing start to the 2025/26 season, capped by a 4-3 loss to Gateshead on August 25. The National League club confirmed the decision via an official statement on X (formerly Twitter) on August 26.

In their announcement, Yeovil Town expressed gratitude for Cooper’s three years of service at Huish Park, acknowledging his commitment during challenging periods and his contributions to the club’s progress. The club extended its best wishes for his future endeavors.

As the club initiates the search for a new permanent manager, Richard Dryden will step in as interim First Team manager. Supporters are encouraged to rally behind Dryden and the players ahead of the upcoming match against FC Halifax Town.
