The Yeovil supporters penned an open letter calling for the departure of the 53-year-old businessman following months of tension, which worsened when Hellier started banning fans for criticizing his leadership.
In his statement, Hellier expressed pride in the changes implemented during his tenure, which included guiding the club to promotion back to the National League. However, the club also reported a £2.8m loss for the season, highlighting its heavy reliance on financial support from Hellier.
