In a closely contested Enterprise National League match, Brackley Town secured their third consecutive win by edging out Yeovil Town 2-1 at St James Park.
The Saints struck early, with Shane Byrne capitalising on a defensive error from Yeovil to put Brackley ahead in just the third minute. However, Yeovil quickly responded when defender Kyle Ferguson levelled the score with a well-placed effort in the 12th minute.
The decisive moment came just before half-time as Ben Wodskou converted a precise assist from Scott Pollock, restoring Brackley’s lead. Despite Yeovil’s late pressure, including a low-driven shot from Luke McCormick that was superbly saved by Brackley goalkeeper Cameron Gregory, the Glovers were unable to find an equaliser.
