Yeovil Town Faces Pressure After Third Straight Defeat

Yeovil Town’s struggles continued as they suffered a third consecutive defeat, going down 1-0 away at Woking. The home side extended their unbeaten run to five games, courtesy of a first-half goal by captain Harry Beautyman.

Beautyman, who had an early effort flash just over the bar, rose to meet the moment on the half-hour mark, calmly slotting the ball into the bottom corner to give Woking the lead. He almost doubled the advantage minutes later but missed narrowly.

Despite an improved second half from the Glovers, they failed to find an equalizer. James Daly showed promise with his energetic play, forcing a good save from Woking goalkeeper Will Jaaskelainen with a deflected looping shot, but chances were limited overall.
