Yeovil Town continued their impressive form, extending their unbeaten streak to four matches following a 1-1 draw against Worthing at Huish Park.
The visitors broke the deadlock in the 28th minute when Razzaq Coleman delivered a powerful volley that slipped past Yeovil goalkeeper Jos Barker, giving Worthing the early lead.
However, Yeovil responded early in the second half. A George McGavin free-kick caused confusion in the Worthing defence, resulting in Joe Cook inadvertently scoring an own goal to bring the Glovers level.
In the closing stages, Worthing’s Cory Adjetey-Brew had a chance to snatch victory but his shot was expertly blocked by Yeovil defender Jack Kingdon, ensuring the points were shared.
With this result, Yeovil Town remain securely positioned within the top seven of the league table, continuing their pursuit of a strong finish to the season.
