Yeovil Town Ends Winless Streak with 3-1 Victory Over Braintree

Yeovil Town finally broke their three-match winless streak in the Enterprise National League by securing a 3-1 victory over fellow strugglers Braintree at Huish Park.

The Glovers appeared to take the lead in the 25th minute when Kyle Ferguson’s header found the net, but the goal was disallowed due to offside. Despite the setback, Yeovil pressed on and eventually opened the scoring just after the hour mark. Luke McCormick capitalized on a rebound to put his side ahead.

The home team doubled their advantage shortly after in the 65th minute when James Daly nodded in a follow-up after Mason Terry saved an initial effort. Braintree responded with a powerful strike from Lewis Walker 20 minutes before full-time, narrowing the gap to 2-1.
