Yeovil Town Dominate with Convincing 4-1 Victory at Aldershot

Yeovil Town continued their strong form in the National League, securing a commanding 4-1 win against Aldershot at the EBB Stadium. This victory marks their third win in the last five matches, signaling a positive turnaround for the Glovers.

Breaking a recent pattern, Yeovil scored three goals within the first 23 minutes—a feat they had only achieved once in their previous 17 games. Tahvon Campbell, who previously played a key role in helping Aldershot avoid relegation during a loan spell in 2022, opened the scoring in the 11th minute by converting a rebound.

Junior Morias then extended the lead in the 21st minute, contributing significantly to the early dominance. After a period of intense pressure, Luke McCormick added a third goal before halftime, capitalizing on a swift counterattack following missed chances from Andrew Oluwabori and Josh Sims.

The Glovers sealed their victory in the 64th minute when Tahvon Campbell stepped up to convert a penalty awarded after James Plant was fouled in the box. Despite an added-time consolation goal from James Henry for Aldershot, Yeovil’s dominance was never in doubt.

This win boosts Yeovil’s confidence as they continue to climb the league table, while Aldershot remains under pressure after winning just one of their last six matches.
