Yeovil Town have announced their retained list for the upcoming season, confirming that ten players will leave Huish Park as their contracts expire. The club bid farewell to Alex Whittle, Finn Cousin-Dawson, Kyle Ferguson, Jacob Maddox, Josh Sims, Jonathon Page, Charlie Cooper, Aaron Jarvis, Harvey Greenslade, and Tahvon Campbell. Additionally, all eight loan players currently at the club will return to their parent clubs after their loan spells conclude.
On a positive note, two key players have secured new deals. Matt Gould has renewed his contract and will continue his dual role as Player and Goalkeeper Coach for another season. Meanwhile, Brett McGavin has signed a two-year extension, committing to Yeovil Town until the summer of 2028.
McGavin joined Yeovil from Torquay United in June 2024 and has since become an indispensable part of the squad. With 83 appearances and nine goals to his name, he has proven his value on the field. Known for his tireless work ethic, technical skill, and precise delivery, McGavin has consistently anchored the midfield. His expertise in set pieces adds a significant attacking threat, enhancing the team’s overall offensive capabilities.
