Yeovil Town Appoints Jamie Hedges as Head of Recruitment

Yeovil Town Football Club has announced the appointment of Jamie Hedges as their new Head of Recruitment. Hedges brings extensive experience from his previous roles at Aldershot Town, Bristol Rovers, and King’s Lynn Town, where he developed a reputation for identifying promising talent and crafting effective recruitment strategies.

Having recently departed Aldershot Town following a managerial change, Hedges is no stranger to Yeovil’s current management team. He previously worked alongside Yeovil’s manager Richard Dryden, fostering a strong professional connection. His expertise will be vital in shaping Yeovil’s recruiting approach, ensuring the squad aligns with the club’s style, values, and financial framework.

“Joining Yeovil is an exciting opportunity,” Hedges said. “After conversations with Prabhu, Nicholas, and Stuart, I am fully committed to contributing positively and helping the club return to its rightful position.”

In his role, Hedges will report directly to the Board and collaborate closely with the first-team manager and coaching staff. He will be responsible for scouting emerging talent, refining recruitment procedures, and securing players who match Yeovil Town’s ambitions both on and off the field.

Earlier this year, Hedges served a two-month suspension and was fined £850 due to breaches of the Football Association’s gambling regulations, related to bets placed between January 2020 and May 2025. Despite this setback, Yeovil Town believe his recruitment skills and vision will significantly benefit the club moving forward.
