Yeovil Town Acquire Former Bristol Rovers Winger Ryan Jones for Five-Figure Fee

Yeovil Town Football Club has officially announced the signing of 23-year-old winger Ryan Jones from Aldershot Town. The deal, which runs until 2028, was completed for an undisclosed five-figure fee.

Known for his pace, creativity, and versatility, Jones is a direct wide player equally effective on either flank. He began his senior career impressively with Weston-super-Mare, netting early goals that caught attention. In 2020, he transferred to Bristol Rovers, where he gained valuable experience through loan spells at Bath City, Hungerford Town, and Bromley, continually honing his skills and contributing goals from wide positions.

Jones moved to Aldershot Town in 2024 and enjoyed a standout 2024/25 season, making 50 appearances and scoring 10 goals, demonstrating his consistent impact at National League level.

Yeovil manager Billy Rowley praised the signing: “Ryan is a talented left-sided player who has had a strong season at Aldershot. He brings versatility and energy to our squad and is exactly the type of player we’ve been looking for to strengthen the team.”
