Yeovil Police Seek Victim Following Unreported Town Centre Assault

Police in Yeovil are appealing for the victim of an assault captured on CCTV to get in touch. The footage was discovered during an investigation into a separate incident involving criminal damage.

On Sunday, March 15, around 12:40 a.m., officers responded to reports of a man damaging a car windscreen on Stars Lane by jumping on the vehicle. An 18-year-old was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage in connection with this.

While reviewing CCTV from that area, investigators observed the same suspect seemingly punching a man in the stomach. This assault had not been previously reported to the police.
