Lando Norris, the 2023 Formula One world champion from Somerset, has officially launched his own junior racing team, LN4 Fusion. The announcement was made at Monza ahead of the Italian Grand Prix, marking a significant step in Norris’s ambition to develop and support emerging racing talent.
LN4 Fusion is set to compete in several championships next season, including the Formula Three series, the Italian Formula Four championship, and the FIA Formula Regional European Championship. Plans are also underway to enter the Formula Two championship, widely regarded as the final stepping stone before Formula One.
Reflecting on the launch, Norris emphasised the importance of a comprehensive support system in racing. “I’ve been really lucky to have some amazing people around me throughout my career and I know that getting to Formula One takes so much more than just talent,” he said. “You need the right people around you, the right support, the right opportunities at the right time.”

The team has been co-founded by Norris alongside an investment group, with its headquarters based in Veneto, northern Italy. Experienced team principal Rene Rosin has been appointed to lead the organisation.
In addition to the team, Norris has introduced the LN4 Legacy Programme, an independent and fully funded initiative designed to assist talented young drivers who lack the financial resources to advance in motorsport. The programme aims to provide comprehensive on- and off-track support to give these drivers the best chance of success.
Norris shared his vision on social media: “I was lucky enough to achieve my dream and now I want to help others achieve theirs. Built with people I trust, people who’ve experienced all levels of motorsport and know exactly what it takes to win. The goal is to become the leading junior single-seater team. We’ll be on the grid in Italian F4, FREC, F3, and are working on a place in British F4 and F2.”
He continued, “To see this go from an idea to something real is incredible. Huge thanks to everyone who has played a part in making this happen. For me, the main part of this is that I get to stay involved with racing for the long term. This project isn’t just for the next few years; it’s a lasting commitment. It’s about having a team I can support and feel part of, like a family, with cars I can get behind.”
