Residents at Salisbury Manor, a Care UK care home in Salisbury, are warmly inviting locals to join a heartwarming community knitting event that bridges generations through the joy of crafting.
The upcoming ‘Pearl One, Knit One’ session will take place on Monday, November 17, from 10am to 12pm. Open to knitters of all skill levels, the monthly gatherings offer more than just knitting—they provide a space for conversation, storytelling, and connection over yarn and tea.
This initiative is part of Care UK’s broader ‘Fixer Uppers’ campaign, which aims to revive traditional crafts and encourage sustainable living by sharing valuable skills passed down through generations.
