Andrew John Westwick, a 59-year-old resident of East Town Lane in Pilton, has been sentenced to 27 months in prison for supplying cannabis. The Bristol Crown Court handed down the sentence on Wednesday, September 3, following Westwick’s guilty plea to multiple cannabis-related offenses.
Authorities seized approximately 6 kilograms of cannabis from Westwick’s home and vehicle on December 12. The haul included cannabis plants, flowering heads, and resin with a total estimated value of £28,500. Notably, the cannabis packaging was branded with the distinctive “Wonka Bar” label.
Detective Chief Inspector Ben Lavender of Avon and Somerset Police reported that Westwick was found at the property during the police raid. Officers discovered four packages containing cannabis flowering heads and resin in his car, ready for dispatch. Consequently, Westwick was arrested on charges of being involved in the supply and production of a controlled Class B drug.
