A woman was threatened with a broken bottle by a man in Bath city centre during the early hours of Saturday, September 27. Avon and Somerset Police report that the alarming incident took place on Dorchester Street around 5:30 a.m.
A 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray and has since been released on conditional bail while inquiries continue. Police are also investigating separate threats made against other members of the public in the area.
