A woman in Taunton reported being sexually assaulted by a man who followed her from behind Trinity Gate on South Street. The victim provided a detailed description of the assailant as a white man, approximately 5ft 8ins tall, with a short grey beard. He was wearing a rainbow bandana, an orange hoodie, and green camouflage trousers.
A 43-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of the assault and has been released on bail as the investigation continues. The police are urging witnesses or anyone with information to come forward and assist in the case by calling 101 and quoting the reference number 5225027281.
