Woman in Intensive Care Following Serious Crash Near Garden Centre

A woman remains hospitalized in intensive care several days after a severe collision involving a car and a minibus on Corsham Road in Lacock. The accident occurred on Monday, October 21, near Whitehall Garden Centre, according to Wiltshire Police.

The crash involved two vehicles—a car and a minibus—resulting in two women being taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the car, a woman in her 50s, is currently in intensive care but her condition has improved and she is no longer considered to be in a life-threatening state.

The passenger in the minibus, a woman in her 40s, sustained fractures but has since been discharged from the hospital.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police confirmed: “At 9:30 a.m., a car collided with a minibus near Whitehall Garden Centre on Corsham Road. The car driver remains in intensive care, while the minibus passenger has been treated and released.”
