A woman in her 40s has tragically died in hospital after being found seriously injured at a house in Tweentown, Cheddar. The incident occurred on Saturday, February 28.
Following the discovery of her injuries, she was rushed to the hospital but later succumbed to her condition on Thursday, March 12. Her family has been informed and is receiving support from specially trained family liaison officers.
Avon and Somerset Police have launched a thorough investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. Two individuals were arrested in connection with the case last month. Both have since been released on police bail and remain under investigation while inquiries continue.
