A 63-year-old woman, Stefania Glowka, has been formally charged with murder following the death of Tamara Glowka, a woman in her 80s, on Christmas Day in Devizes. The incident occurred at a flat on Keepers Road, where both women were known to each other.
Stefania Glowka appeared at Swindon Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, December 30. She has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Bristol Crown Court on Wednesday, December 31.
Wiltshire Police confirmed that a preliminary post-mortem examination has been conducted, but further tests are required to officially determine the cause of death. The victim’s formal identification is also pending. Following the investigation, the police cordon at the Keepers Road address has since been lifted.
