A woman was violently punched in the face during an assault outside Chaucer Court in East Reach, Taunton, at approximately 11pm on Tuesday, September 23. The victim sustained a split lip and bruising but is currently recovering at home.
Avon and Somerset Police are urgently appealing for information regarding the incident. Authorities have released a CCTV image of a woman they believe may hold crucial information to aid the investigation.
The woman is described as white, about 5ft 5ins tall, with a medium build and long pink hair tied in a bun. In the footage, she is seen wearing a grey jumper, dark leggings, and carrying a purple bag.
