This half term, families are invited to enjoy a free, autumn-themed Family Food Festival at Weymouth’s Tumbledown Farm on Friday, October 31, from 10 am to 1 pm. The event promises a delightful celebration of fresh, seasonal produce combined with a variety of engaging activities for both children and adults.
Kids and parents can get creative with pumpkin carving and pizza making, using vegetables grown right on the farm. Children aged eight and above have the special opportunity to craft their own pizzas for a small fee. Additional highlights include campfire cooking sessions, popcorn making workshops, and a live soup demonstration by a professional chef.
The festival also features a food-themed trail that begins at the top car park and winds through the scenic grounds, offering an interactive experience for visitors of all ages. The Bat Cave pumpkin carving workshops provide a spooky, fun-filled space for creative expression, while autumn crafts, games, a festive photo booth, and informative stands about bees ensure entertainment throughout the day.
