Weston-super-Mare Secure National League South Play-Off Spot with Crucial Draw

Weston-super-Mare have clinched a place in the National League South play-offs following a vital 1-1 draw against Dorking Wanderers on the final day of the season.

Managed by Scott Rogers, Weston entered the match sitting seventh in the table, fully aware that a victory was essential to break into the top seven and secure a play-off berth. Despite Frank Vincent giving Dorking an early lead just before half-time, Weston responded quickly in the second half. Luke Spokes expertly leveled the score soon after the restart, a goal that proved crucial in the final standings.

Thanks to favorable results elsewhere—most notably Ebbsfleet United’s defeat to Worthing—Weston secured sixth place, their highest finish ever, and cemented their spot in the play-offs.
