Weston-super-Mare have climbed to second place in the National League South following a dramatic 1-0 victory over Dagenham & Redbridge, thanks to a late goal from Ollie Hulbert. The Seagulls managed to overtake their opponents in the league standings after Hulbert calmly finished from 12 yards in the 89th minute to secure the win.
The match had been fiercely contested and goalless until Hulbert’s decisive strike, which broke the deadlock late in the game.
In other matches, Bath City returned to winning ways with a convincing 2-0 home win against local rivals Chippenham Town in the Southern League Premier Division South. Bath dominated proceedings and could have extended their lead further if not for a series of impressive saves from Bristol City loanee goalkeeper Jack Witchard, who was particularly busy despite conceding twice in the first 30 minutes.

Elsewhere, Frome Town and Hanwell Town shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw. Jon Davies and Zack Ali put Frome ahead, but Henry Snee scored twice for Hanwell, including a late equaliser, to rescue a point for the visitors.
Taunton Town suffered a 3-1 defeat at Gosport Borough. Jerry Wiltshire, Trevor Caborn, and Kris Campbell all scored for the hosts, while Scott Robinson netted the only goal for Taunton.
