A 41-year-old Weston-super-Mare man, Elii King, has appeared at North Somerset Magistrates' Court facing a charge of raping a 14-year-old girl. The alleged offence is said to have occurred on 25 August 2025.
King, who resides on Beach Road in Weston-super-Mare, appeared in court dressed in denim jeans and a green waterproof jacket. He did not enter a plea during this initial hearing.
As part of his bail conditions, King is prohibited from contacting the complainant directly and must not have unsupervised contact with any children under the age of 16, except in unavoidable circumstances.

King is scheduled to appear next at Bristol Crown Court on Friday, 23 October for further proceedings.
