Elii King, a 41-year-old man from Beach Road, Weston-super-Mare, has appeared at North Somerset Magistrates' Court charged with the rape of a 14-year-old. The alleged offence is said to have occurred on 25 August 2025. During the hearing, King, who wore denim jeans and a waterproof green jacket, did not enter a plea. As part of his bail conditions, he is prohibited from contacting the complainant and must not have unsupervised contact with any children under the age of 16, except where unavoidable. King is due to attend Bristol Crown Court on Friday, 23 October for the next stage of proceedings.
