On June 20, two wellbeing practitioners are inviting 100 people to come together for a special Summer Solstice event at Ivinghoe Beacon. James O’Keefe, wellbeing coach and co-founder of Unguarded Warrior, alongside life coach psychologist Chris Wimshurst, will lead an evening filled with breathwork, mindfulness, sound healing, and opportunities to connect with nature and each other.
The event, named “100 on the Hill,” draws inspiration from popular community-driven initiatives like Parkrun and local running clubs. These groups highlight a growing desire for free, accessible experiences that promote health, connection, and a sense of belonging.
James O’Keefe explains, “We wanted to create something truly open to everyone. Wellbeing can often seem exclusive—held back by cost, confidence, or uncertainty about where to begin. Looking at successful community events like Parkrun, it’s clear that people want the chance to come together, move, and connect in meaningful ways, especially when those opportunities are free.”

“100 on the Hill offers a space for people to slow down, embrace nature, and foster genuine connections. By removing financial barriers, we hope to make wellbeing accessible to all, especially in times when so many feel isolated.”
This free event celebrates the Summer Solstice by bringing together individuals from all walks of life for a shared, enriching experience rooted in nature, mindfulness, and community spirit.
