Warrens Bakery has opened the doors to its newest location in Weston-super-Mare this week, marking 165 years since its founding in Cornwall. The grand opening ceremony saw the town’s Mayor, Councillor Martin Williams, officially cut the ribbon alongside Craig Wood and the Warrens Bakery team.
Situated at 57 High Street, the newly restored shop welcomed local councillors and customers on its first day with complimentary freshly brewed tea, coffee, and the bakery’s famous pasties. Open seven days a week, the store has created several full-time and part-time job opportunities within the community.
This Weston-super-Mare branch represents another milestone in Warrens Bakery’s steady expansion, growing from its original bakery on the cobbled streets of St Just to now operating 45 stores. Beyond Cornwall, Warrens has established a presence across the South West and at key locations including Bath Spa, Basingstoke, Cardiff, and Slough railway stations.
