The organisers of the Bath Christmas Market have issued an important warning about a fraudulent email scam circulating among potential stallholders. As the globally renowned market prepares to return this November, officials have alerted the public to emails sent from the address [email protected], falsely inviting applications to become stallholders at this year’s event.
A spokesperson for the market stated, “We have been made aware of emails being circulated from [email protected] asking people to apply to be a stallholder at this year’s Christmas Market. This is not us. All of our pitches have now been allocated and we are looking forward to announcing our line up in due course.”
Bath Christmas Market stands as a significant annual event for the city, drawing an impressive 439,000 visitors globally in 2025. Organised by Bath and North East Somerset Council, the market contributed an estimated £64 million to Bath’s economy during last year’s festivities.
