Wallace and Gromit Shine in Longleat’s Festival of Light Debut

Join the festive celebrations at Longleat in Wiltshire as Wallace and Gromit make their world debut in lantern form at The Festival of Light. This year’s event, running from November 8 to January 11, presents a new British Icons theme featuring classic Aardman characters such as Shaun the Sheep, Feathers McGraw, and Morph.

Walk through illuminated scenes from Mossy Bottom Farm and West Wallaby Street, and marvel at larger-than-life installations of renowned UK landmarks. The 2.5 km trail includes stunning displays of Tower Bridge, China Town, Stonehenge, Blackpool’s seaside attractions, Giant’s Causeway, Welsh Dragon, Glenfinnan Viaduct, and more.

In honor of the 250th anniversary of Jane Austen’s birth, the festival also pays homage to British writers and music legends. Merlin Crossingham, Wallace and Gromit creative director, said, “Teaming up with iconic attraction Longleat for its hugely popular event, The Festival of Light, this festive season is a wonderful opportunity, and we can’t wait to see how our worlds and characters will come to life in lantern form for the very first time.”
