Two Men in Tracksuits Sought Following Arson Attack at Yeovil Football Club

Police are actively searching for two men in tracksuits following a deliberate fire that caused significant damage at Pen Mill Ladies Football Club in Yeovil. On the evening of Tuesday, June 17, a bin was set alight at Johnson Park, which quickly spread to a nearby changing room, severely damaging kit, equipment, and the building itself.

The incident occurred while the football club was in use, but fortunately, no injuries were reported. Fire crews responded promptly and extinguished the blaze, but the arsonists fled the scene before police arrived. Officers conducted a thorough search of the area but were unable to locate the suspects.

Authorities describe the individuals as white males in their late teens or early twenties. One was wearing a grey tracksuit, while the other was dressed in a black and white tracksuit. Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward to assist their investigation.
